Some key objectives for this role:

  • Help to support wider operational teams ensuring all pre-tender documentation is authorised in a timely manner.
  • Present Professional Services category and supply chain strategies to the executive leadership team and help to build-out strategic plans.
  • Look at ways to achieve a sustainable cost reduction across the Professional Services procurement category.
  • Assist with the management of the end-to-end Third-Party life cycle, including sourcing, contracting, ongoing supplier relationship management and offboarding activities when necessary.

To qualify for this role, some areas to consider:

  • Qualified or interest in working towards CIPS.
  • Commercial experience in Professional Services as a Category Specialist.
  • Some wider category experience also considered, FM is useful.
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organised
  • The ability to commute and work easily in the Kent area.
  • Could be currently working at Category Officer level but looking to step up.
  • We will consider candidates who are both immediately available or on extended notice periods up to 12 weeks with current employer.
