SharePoint Developer

SharePoint Developer, £500 per day outside ir35, London 3 days a week.

As a SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for supporting and developing SharePoint solutions to meet the needs of our FTSE 250 client. You will play a key role in the migration of SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Online, ensuring seamless integration with Teams and OneDrive. Your expertise in SharePoint development, both on-premises and online, will be crucial in maintaining and enhancing our SharePoint platforms.

The SharePoint Developer will be instrumental in addressing technical requirements and challenges such as archiving and recall, capability and supportability, level of self-service functionality, data policy, and external file storage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for SharePoint 2019, including patching support and handling technical issues.
• Develop and maintain SharePoint Online solutions, utilizing a range of technologies including Azure, TypeScript, C#, PowerShell, and React.
• Support SharePoint file migration project across EMEA, improving file access and management for end-users and managing down storage cost.
• Support the migration process from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Expertise in SharePoint 2019 development and online development (including SharePoint framework on SharePoint and Teams projects).
• Proficiency in PowerShell 5.x and 7.x, C#, .Net Framework, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Experience with Azure, including logic apps, function apps, managed identity use, alert rules, runbooks/automation accounts, storage accounts, webjobs, etc.
• Knowledge of modern and legacy authentication methods, REST/MS Graph API, and adaptive cards/actionable messages.
• Familiarity with SQL development, ShareGate, Jest, and Selenium is preferred.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including backlog maintenance, build and release design, and Git.
