My client is looking to recruit excellent Business Analysts to join their expanding and very professional team of BAs/PMs

The roles will be hybrid (Head Office is in Southampton) and this needs to be factored in when applying for these positions

The roles will be responsible for the following areas

Providing excellent business analysis services to support the organisation in project based activities.

Leading analysis delivery and managing teams of analysts on projects/programmes under the direction of a Project Manager

Supporting transformation projects.

Planning and Analysis

Conducting business process analyses, needs assessments, and cost/benefits analyses of business applications

Create project proposals that align technology solutions with business objectives and the Technology Strategy and roadmaps.

Formulate and define systems scope and objectives, based on end-user needs

Develop a thorough understanding of business systems, applications and industry requirements.

Identify, capture and develop requirements (functional and non-functional)

Provide detailed documentation and business rules to support the requirements throughout the project life cycle

Change control, prioritising requirements based on high-value achievable requirements.

Drive continuous improvement of business products and services by translating requirements into improved design and service provisioning.

Project Execution

Lead workshops including IT and 3rd party suppliers

Evaluate and translate end-user needs into practical and pragmatic solutions.

Become the link between technical personnel and the appropriate end-user department

Understand the business implications of the technical solutions on the current and future business environment.

Managing system incidents working with the project team to ensure resolution

Working with end users to select or define appropriate scenarios to test and determine whether system changes meet project specifications.

Coordinate with users to plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Create, review and deliver end-user documentation and prepare communication material on system enhancements.

Monitor production performance enhancements and system integrity with end-users.

To be considered candidates will need to demonstrate

3+ years business analysis experience

Possess sound understanding of business principles and concepts.

Proficient in business analysis techniques: requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, requirements management, traceability.

Experience modelling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques.

Exposure to the full change lifecycle and experience of supporting all stages from business case development through to embedding outcomes in the business and benefit realisation.

Ability to support strategy analysis and development of strategic roadmaps.

Ability to perform cost and benefit analysis and develop business cases.

Strong problem-solving / opportunity shaping skills and well-versed in developing business, architectural and analysis options that help to identify and shape solutions.

Excellent stakeholder engagement capability with the ability to manage expectations and explain detail.

Effective communication and presentation skills with ability to relate problem solutions orally, graphically and in writing.

Ability and experience assisting with planning and risk management activities.

Capability to work in an Agile environment desired.

Ability to work in 'Virtual teams' cross function/cross business and geographies.
