Job Reference: CL/AR/03-05/1157/7 Job Title: Passenger Assistant Location: Edinburgh Pay Rate: ?11.44 Hours per week: Variable Shift Rota - 04:00 - 23:00 - 37 hours per week (3 on 3 off. Flexible working times between 04:00 and 23:00.) As Passenger Assistant, you will ensure the safe transfer of Passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM) through the airport terminal in a timely manner, providing mobility assistance and enabling passengers to enjoy all aspects of the airport experience. We are looking for a customer focused and friendly individuals to join our team and help create a memorable experience for all customers. Main Duties: * Meet and greet arriving/departing/transferring Passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM). * Communicate effectively with all passengers and staff. * Assist Passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM) at drop off/pick up points, airline check-In, airport security and pre-boarding aircraft. * In a safely manner, assist in the transfer of passengers from aircraft to airport terminal using various equipment. * Comply with all Health & Safety regulations. * Use company equipment responsibly ensuring all equipment. To be successful in the role, you will need: * As you will be working in a regulated environment, you will be subject to vetting. You will therefore need to provide evidence of your 5 year work history and have valid photo ID (passport or driving/provisional license). * Ability to communicate with people and colleagues at all levels. * Ability to lift passengers in accordance with manual handling guidelines.
