Supply Planner Site based Location Heathrow Area Permanent Full time Salary up to £40K per annum plus benefits Interviews to take place ASAP with a view to an immediate start there after In the fast-paced world of supply chain management, our Client is looking to take on a new Supply Planner, the current postholder has been promoted and this position is now open for a new skilled and experienced Supply Planner. As Supply Planner you will play a crucial role in ensuring products move smoothly through the supply chain. The role is about more than just coordinating; but crafting plans that keep everything flowing efficiently to meet customer needs and business goals. - Supply Planning, demand forecasts, historical data, and production capacities to create effective supply plans, balance stock levels to avoid shortages while minimising excess. - You will work closely with the Demand Manager and Sales teams to understand customer demands and market trends, adjusting plans accordingly. - You will be responsible for Inventory Management, monitoring levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations, always striving for the right balance. - Production Scheduling - coordination with production teams to ensure timely delivery of finished goods based on supply plans. - Supplier Coordination - working with the procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure materials are delivered on time, resolving any issues that may arise. - Data Analysis - assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions. - Risk Management - anticipating potential disruptions and implementing plans to keep the supply chain running smoothly. - Continuous Improvement - driving efficiency, reducing lead times, and optimising costs. - Cross-Functional collaboration with various departments to ensure alignment and effective communication is an essential element of this role - Reporting - providing regular updates on supply chain performance to management. Knowledge, Skills & Expertise - Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain - Experience in demand planning and forecasting. - Experience in supply planning or inventory management. - Proficient in SAP, Excel coupled with strong analytical and communication skills.
