Supply desk is looking for a skilled and devoted year 3 primary school teacher to work 5 days per week (full time) in our exceptional school in the Leighton Buzzard area. The school is looking for a trained and experienced primary school teacher with a track record of classroom success.  The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching and dedicated to the welfare and development of others. And an inspiring role model who wants to stimulate and inspire young brains to be ambitious and ready for the current world.

The role:

-       Teaching across KS2.

-       Prepare teaching materials, learning resources, set up the classroom and organise displays, to create a pleasant, stimulating and positive learning environment.

-       Ensure children's work is valued by managing the provision of good displays in the classroom. Help in providing displays for public areas e.g. hall, corridors etc.

-       Plan and teach lessons and work with small groups of students.

-       Mark work and talk to parents and carers about their children's progress.

-       Manage the work of teaching assistants.

-       Encourages pupils to take ownership of their learning and develop long-lasting learning skills.

-       Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge

-       Making accurate and productive use of assessment

-       Managing behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment.
