Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Beaconsfield

Supply Desk are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will work closely with classroom teachers to support the educational and social development of our students. Duties will include providing one-on-one assistance to students, assisting with classroom activities and lesson preparation, and promoting a positive learning environment.

Start Date: ASAP

The Role:

• Collaborate with teachers to understand lesson objectives and instructional plans
• Assist in the implementation of various teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles
• Offer feedback and suggestions to teachers for improving lesson effectiveness
• Conduct targeted interventions to address specific learning needs identified by teachers or assessments.
• Provide personalised assistance and guidance to students struggling with understanding concepts
• Use a variety of instructional techniques, such as hands-on activities, visual aids, and guided practice, to reinforce learning
• Work closely with the school's Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and accommodations
• Monitor student behaviour and intervene proactively to prevent disruptions or conflicts
• Promote a culture of respect, tolerance, and acceptance among students

Minimum Requirements:

• Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Passion for education and developing pupil’s education
• Commutable to High Wycombe and the surrounding areas
