This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and engaged marketing professional to join a market-leading specialist recruitment company. It’s a really hands on and exciting role where you can use and develop your skills, and where our small team is committed to playing to our strengths and passions in order to support the business and communicate its culture to the wider world.
It’s a full time role, based in our office in Warrington. We have additional offices in central London and near Halifax in West Yorkshire. After a successful induction period, there is scope for a hybrid approach.

The marketing executive will plan, schedule and deliver brand awareness campaigns to drive traffic and increase engagement through Group online channels. They will use their creative skills and experience to play a key role in ensuring growth and helping the Group achieve its commercial objectives.

The marketing executive will report to the marketing manager. With a high work-rate ethos, they will be expected to manage their own workload while working collaboratively in the small marketing team and across the Group.

The successful candidate will be creative, with a good eye for visual branding and design, and committed to using their passion and imagination in this role. They will need to be proactive, adaptable and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities at once.

Responsibilities:

- Contribute to the design and delivery of the marketing strategy for the Group.
- Balance ongoing projects with ad hoc requests. Monitor progress and action points.
- Create, execute and evaluate marketing campaigns across a variety of digital channels, i.e. develop and implement social media strategy using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and other relevant social media channels.
- Take a proactive approach to consistent performance improvement. Monitor ongoing campaign performance, keeping accurate records, identifying variances and provide recommendations for improvement as necessary.
- Identify opportunities for improving each brand’s reach (e.g. audience, geography, targeting, and social channel etc.)
- Collaborate on paid campaigns.
- Use social media and marketing skills to coordinate and encourage engagement and participation in the Group’s charitable activities.
- Lead on creating and producing brand awareness assets such as video testimonials, TikToks, Reels, etc.
- Work with individual consultants to enhance their own personal brands.
- Support current refresh and ongoing development of group websites to improve customer experience, SEO and digital performance.
- Track objectives, performance KPIs, activity, report and make improvements.
- Monitor daily communication through social media channels, reviews, forums and blogs. In particular, engage with candidates, etc. through social media channels and liaise with sales teams where necessary.
- Monitor competitor activity through social media activity.
- Travel on Group business when required and agreed with the SLT.
- Support company values.

Skills and capabilities

- Self-starter with ability to create multi-channel marketing campaigns from the ground up.
- Ability to create written and visual content according to brand guidelines designed to develop high-quality written and visual content.
- Strong project management skills – self-sufficient in prioritising, organising workload and planning ahead.
- Track record of achieving personal objectives.
- Entrepreneurial approach and passion for continuous channel/campaign improvement.
- Able to think critically with strong problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Highly motivated and good understanding of managing digital channels, including FB, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram. Open minded approach to expanding the Group’s reach to new channels such as TikTok, Snapchat, WhatsApp Business, etc.
- Familiarity with digital marketing software such as Hootsuite, Sendible, and Buffer including brand monitoring, campaign management tools, and analytics platforms.

Experience

- Degree or relevant marketing qualification.
- At least two years’ relevant experience in digital or social media marketing.
- Flexible and able to adapt to the changing business environment and demands.
- Experience of using strong interpersonal skills in cross-functional teams.
- Experience of working in a fast paced service environment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Good working knowledge of digital marketing software such as Mailchimp, Canva, Sendible, Hootsuite, SendGrid
