| Associate Civil Engineer - Leicester Location: Leicester Salary: £60,000 - £75,000+ Type: Permanent An established and growing Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to play a key role in the leadership and continued growth of its Leicester office. With a strong pipeline of development and infrastructure projects across the residential, commercial, education, healthcare and mixed-use sectors, this opportunity would suit an experienced Civil Engineer looking to take the next step into a senior leadership position with greater responsibility for project delivery, team management and client development.  The Role - Lead and oversee the delivery of infrastructure and drainage projects from inception through to completion. - Manage and mentor a team of Civil Engineers and Technicians. - Take responsibility for project profitability, programme management and technical quality. - Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact. - Support business development activities, including networking, fee proposals and securing repeat work. - Provide technical leadership across drainage, highways and development infrastructure schemes. - Liaise with local authorities, statutory undertakers and multidisciplinary design teams. - Support the Directors in the strategic growth of the Civil Engineering team.  Requirements - Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. - Significant UK consultancy experience within infrastructure and drainage design. - Strong technical knowledge covering highways, drainage and development infrastructure. - Proven experience managing projects, clients and design teams. - Experience mentoring and developing junior engineers. - Proficient with relevant design software including AutoCAD and drainage packages. - Chartered Engineer status (CEng MICE or equivalent) preferred. - Commercial awareness and an interest in helping grow a business unit.  What's on Offer - Opportunity to take on a leadership role within a growing consultancy. - Clear route towards Associate Director level. - Diverse portfolio of development and infrastructure projects. - Strong existing client base and repeat business. - Competitive salary and benefits package. - Significant autonomy and influence over project delivery and team development.
