|We are looking for a Buyer to join an industry leading print manufacturing business based in Midlothian. This is the chance to work with premium brands and to join a business where its products are sold in more than 40 countries around the world. Clients include many world-renowned industry leaders such as Amazon, John Lewis, Staples and WH Smith.
As a Buyer your role within the team will be to purchase materials, services and products of the appropriate quality and at the best value. You will also manage the inventory by ensuring the availability of materials, services and products in line with manufacturing plans while minimising stock levels carried in the business. This position is now available due to retirement within the team.
You will report to the Purchasing Manager who has a wealth of industry experience and is committed to providing you with on the job training and mentoring. The organisation itself is committed to helping you develop your personal and professional skills in order to bring out your strengths. They will work with you to set clear career development goals and provide feedback and support to assist you in achieving them. At the same time, you will be encouraged to take responsibility for driving your own personal development.
You will be a cross functional team worker who works in partnership with others. Our client is looking for someone who demonstrates strong Influencing/communication/interpersonal and team working skills.
