| CCTV Project Manager Location: London Day Rate: £400–£450 per day (umbrella) Contract: 6–12 months, long-term potential Role Overview Lead the delivery of a strategic CCTV upgrade and expansion across London facilities as part of a major £3m investment. This hands-on contract will focus on public sector/infrastructure project leadership, compliance, and commercialisation, requiring an experienced manager able to deliver governance, reporting, contract negotiation, and asset/service enhancement for long-term civic security? Key Responsibilities - Deliver all phases of the CCTV investment programme: scoping, procurement, deployment, closure? - Prepare board-level governance documentation, maintain project plans and write high-standard progress reports? - Ensure legislative compliance (incl. Data Protection, Surveillance Camera Code of Practice), and maintain robust contract management practices? - Lead supplier search, contract negotiation, and ongoing relationship management for installations and maintenance? - Identify, champion, and implement opportunities for commercialising CCTV assets or services (income generation, cost savings, technological upgrades)? - Engage key internal and external stakeholders through professional presentations and consultative advice - Monitor and report on project financials, contributing to value for money and risk management? Essential Experience & Skills - Track record as a project manager for CCTV/security/infrastructure projects, ideally in public sector/local authority environments? - In-depth knowledge of UK CCTV legislation, GDPR, and compliance standards - Contract negotiation/management experience across multi-vendor public sector projects - Proven commercial awareness: delivering service improvements, asset expansion, or revenue streams? - Confident communicator, able to report and present to senior and civic stakeholders - Experience managing medium-to-large budgets and measurable project outcomes - Desirable: PRINCE2/Agile certification, and prior experience with commercialisation of public sector assets Contract Terms - Six-month initial contract, extendable to 12 months subject to project progress - Day rate: £400–£450 via umbrella; - Hybrid/onsite as required (London travel essential for meetings, site delivery, and stakeholder business) |
