Job Description |
| We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our clients team on a 6-month fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on HR professional to provide comprehensive support across the full employee lifecycle, working closely with managers and employees to deliver a high-quality HR service.  Based in Glasgow, the role offers hybrid working, allowing flexibility to work both from home and the office.  Key Responsibilities  - Provide first-line advice and guidance to managers and employees on all HR-related matters, including employee relations, performance, absence, and policies. - Support and manage casework such as disciplinary, grievance, capability, and sickness absence in line with company procedures and employment law. - Assist with recruitment and selection activities, including drafting job descriptions, coordinating interviews, and preparing offer documentation. - Support the onboarding and induction process for new starters. - Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with GDPR and company policies. - Contribute to HR projects, policy reviews, and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and organisational effectiveness. - Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to ensure consistency and best practice across the business. - Provide data and reports to support decision-making and HR planning.  About You  - Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a fast-paced or multi-site environment. - Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. - Confident managing employee relations cases with minimal supervision. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels. - Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.   What’s on Offer  - Competitive salary of up to £35,000 per annum (pro rata) - Hybrid working model (typically 2–3 days in the office) - Opportunity to gain valuable experience within a supportive HR team - 6-month fixed term contract with potential for extension |
