Kitchen Porter – Cardiff (Education Site)

We are currently seeking a hardworking, reliable, and motivated Kitchen Porter to join our client’s busy education site in Cardiff on a temporary basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in catering or hospitality who takes pride in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the kitchen team with day-to-day cleaning and hygiene tasks

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to a high standard

• Ensure all areas of the kitchen are kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times

• Assist with basic food preparation when required

• Handle deliveries and store stock correctly

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures

• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar role (preferred)

• Good teamwork and communication skills

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Knowledge of basic food hygiene and health & safety standards

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
