Job Description

Are you looking for a challenging care role where you can truly make a difference?

Can you give us dedication and flexibility in hours?

This could be the role for you!

You can earn a negotiable salary of £11.50+ per hour depending on your flexibility and availability.

(A lower rate of pay at £9.50 per hour may apply for approximately 1 month for training)

What will you be doing?
You will be caring for a gentleman who requires full personal care and is a wheelchair user. He lives in his own home. Having had an acquired brain injury some years ago, he is still very active, so this job needs you to be physically fit, as there will be many varied activities involved. Some are gym based, others more educational or artistic.

You will be responsible for 'filling in' with a superb team of carers. This role includes cover for sickness, holiday and maternity cover, so hours can vary widely.

The post is community-based, rewarding, yet challenging.

What do you need?
Great flexibility is needed for this role. You will need to be a female, non-smoker and you must hold a full driving licence. Patience, understanding, and gentleness combined with internal robustness are a must. Also, you must have the ability to work one-to-one but also as part of a team.

Relevant experience includes personal care, learning support and working with challenging behaviour, however, full training will be given. Ideal education level: A level, degree or equivalent, in any subject.

Does this sound like you? If yes then please hit the apply now button.
