We are seeking compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with special educational needs in a Hailsham-based school. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about enabling pupils with additional needs to achieve their full potential. You will play an essential role in creating a supportive, inclusive, and structured environment that promotes progress and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting students with a variety of special educational needs on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
• Assisting the class teacher with adapting lessons and resources to meet individual learning requirements.
• Helping to maintain a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Managing behaviour effectively and encouraging student engagement and independence.
• Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff. Requirements:
• Previous experience supporting children with SEN is desirable but not essential.
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy.
• A current DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply for one. What we Offer:
