Athona Education is working with an "outstanding" school in Finchley, North London, which is seeking a brilliant Year 2 teacher for a part-time role to start after February half term.
The school is 3 form entry and is led by a dedicated leadership team who are committed to further raising what are already high standards.
The school is modern, with large classrooms and well resourced throughout. There is a large sports field and all-weather sports courts.
The school has a good reputation locally and is over subscribed, with good support from parents.
This is a part time role, working with a lovely Year 2 class who are settled and who work well together.
The school require a teacher to work on a Thursday and Friday each week and to take on the responsibilities of a permanent member of the teaching team, with some planning involved and also marking.
Ideally, the school would prefer an experienced teacher, although they will consider outstanding newly qualified teachers(NQTs).
This would be fantastic opportunity if you are looking for a part-time role with the security of regular work in a lovely school. With roles of this type, you may be offered the opportunity of additional days each week, on an ad hoc basis.
You must be a suitably qualified teacher, with QTS, to be considered for this role. You will need to be dedicated and be an excellent communicator as you will be liaising with the job sharer, often by email only. Planning will usually be provided to you each week, although there may be occasions when planning will be required.
Please note that the school would prefer a teacher with Year 2 experience, especially with managing SATs.
