High Quality standards
We take our responsibilities to our candidates and clients very seriously, and therefore each and every one of our candidates has to undergo a series of compliance and training requirements.
To work with Advantage Healthcare, you will need:
• Be eligible to work in the UK.
• Have a UK/EU passport or appropriate visa
• Have current registration for your relevant profession eg. UK NMC (Nursing Midwifery Council) PIN number, if you are a nurse.
• Undertake an Enhanced CRB, POCA and POVA check (we can arrange this for you).
• Ensure you have the skills and experience that the role requires.

Annual mandatory and specialist training
Our commitment to quality doesn’t stop there, prior to putting you out to work, we make sure you have training in all the mandatory requirements, then update them annually, including:
• Practical Moving and Handling
• POCa and POVa Abuse Awareness
• Basic Life Support
• Fire Safety
• Infection Control
• Health and Safety
• Managing Violence and aggression
• First Aid
• Basic Food Hygiene
Plus, if you are working with one of our clients who has more specialist needs, we will make sure you receive specialist training, which may include:
• Ventilation
• Nebuliser and Suctioning
• Artificial feeding
• Disease specific training, i.e. Epilepsy or Motor Neurone disease
• Management of the unconscious patient
• Brain injury
