Behaviour Support Assistant needed in Princes Risborough

Supply Desk are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour support assistant. As a Behaviour support assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students who require guidance and assistance in managing their behaviours. You will work closely with clients/students to implement strategies aimed at improving behaviour, fostering positive relationships, and promoting personal growth and development.

Role: Behaviour Support Assistant

Location: Princes Risborough

Responsibilities:

-          Develop and implement individualised behaviour plans based on the students’ needs and goals.

-          Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students and manage challenging behaviours.

-          Foster a supportive and nurturing environment conducive to positive behavioural changes.

-          Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers, therapists, and social workers, to ensure cohesive support.

-          Monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.

-          Document student progress and communicate effectively with teachers and other support staff.

-          Offer guidance and support to family members or caregivers as necessary.

-          Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in behaviour management

Requirements:

-          Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, counseling, or a related field. Or experience with challenging behaviour (Unqualified with prior or similar experience, also welcome to apply)

-          Experience in behavioural analysis and intervention, preferably in an educational or social setting.

-          Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-          Ability to work well with a range of individuals, including students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.

-          Able to commute to Princes Risborough
