A distributor to the medical industry based in Redditch are seeking a Distribution Assistant to join their expanding team. This fantastic opportunity offers the chance to work for a global leader in their field with full training and future progression on offer
The Role primarily is to support the Distribution Manager with the following; - Organising and managing shipment of products to customers - Order Picking - Dealing with Couriers - Dealing with customer requests and enquiries by both phone & email - Process both incoming & outgoing products and updating relevant parties as needed - Performing operational assessments on 'loaned' products on receipt - Manage year audits - Cycle counting of inventory
The ideal candidate will possess; - Literate with excellent communication skills - A good understanding of basic Microsoft packages with a focus on Excel - Reliable, good timekeeping, aware of H&S, - Good working under tight schedule and effective - A 'can do' attitude
