| Mediplacements are seeking an experienced registered dietitian to lead our clients diverse medical nutrition and lifestyle management programs, with a strong focus on low-carb protocols. Re-location package included! Our client is a Bermuda-based healthcare provider, specializing in primary medical care, diabetes reversal, and lifestyle management. They proudly serve the local community with two convenient locations on the island. J114320 Permanent Salary range - £50,000 - £60,000 BERMUDA Band 6/7 Responsibilities * Provide patient-based medical nutrition therapy for individuals requiring dietary modifications, including diabetes self-management education. * Develop, manage and provide education classes for group programs during usual working schedule with occasional evenings or weekend days previously agreed. * Assess and reassess patients to develop or modify individual treatment plans with collaborative goals. * Provide adequate support and follow up to enable the individual patient to achieve competency in using dietary modifications. * Develop business plans and grant proposals to support applications for additional programs aimed to improve the public health of the Bermuda community. * Provide leadership in the delivery and management of dietitian and wellness services Professional Requirements * Adhere to dress code, appearance is neat and clean * Complete annual education requirements. * Report to work on time and as scheduled. * Comply with all policies and standards regarding ethical business practices. * Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities. * Experience with data entry and data analysis. * Strong problem solving, project management and organization skills. * Strong leadership skills to support service delivery and management Qualifications: * Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition * Must be a Registered Dietitian * Certified Diabetes Educator Preferred * At least two years of related experience including type 1, type 2, gestational diabetes, management of diabetes related technologies (insulin pump, continuous glucose monitoring), obesity management.
