This is an exciting new role, to be the Dual General Manager for 2 properties in the centre of Cork.  Both due to open in September, we are looking for an experienced General Manager to start soon and help plan and build a team.  You will be a General Manager with at least 2 years' experience in either single or cluster roles.  You will be a General Manager who knows Cork and understands the market to help with the opening and growth of the hotel against its competitors.  You will possess a good commercial awareness and strong business relationships within the city.

Experience in pre-openings would be advantageous.  These are two 3 star hotels, with a main focus on the rooms side of the business.  If you are a General Manager from a branded background, this will also be favourable.  

As Dual General Manager you will be accountable for managing operations and department budgets.  You will create and support clear lines of responsibility, including coverage and oversight throughout the day and help hotel team prepare for QA audits (i.e. daily and pre-visit activities).  You will be responsible for food and beverage operations within the hotels, forecasting, managing waste and maximising profits.  Managing and sustaining sales and marketing strategy for both hotels, you will collaborate with the Sales team to develop a plan for gaining and growing business.

As General Manager you will be responsible for ensuring Human Resources practices are compliant as well as all Health and Safety records.  You will always strive to maximise profitability in all areas and drive this within your teams.  You are empowered to passionately lead and grow the hotel, putting your heart and soul into it and be rewarded accordingly.
