| Fabricator Team Leader West Bromwich £16-£17ph Are you an experienced fabricator with a passion for creating bespoke, intricate solutions? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where your skills are put to the test in crafting luxury garden and landscaping products? If so, we want you to join our team as a Lead Fabricator. Position Overview As the Lead Fabricator, you will spearhead our specialised fabrication and engineering projects department. Your role will involve translating design requirements into tangible products, leading a team of skilled fabricators, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Essential Requirements " Extensive fabrication experience, preferably 5 years or more. " Strong mathematical skills for calculating project dimensions. " Proficiency in reading and implementing CAD drawings. " Effective collaboration and leadership abilities. " Precision in using measuring instruments. " Excellent oral communication skills. Role and Responsibilities: " Collaborate with colleagues, designers, and engineers to develop manufacturing plans. " Select appropriate materials based on project requirements. " Design and optimise the fabrication process for efficiency and quality. " Oversee production to ensure adherence to standards and deadlines. " Troubleshoot issues as they arise during fabrication. " Stay updated on the latest advancements in fabrication technology. " Actively participate in project meetings and offer valuable input. " Interpret technical drawings accurately.
