Finance Manager Cullompton, Devon £30,000 - £35,000 per annum Hybrid working Our client a leading not for profit organisation, is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role and take responsibility for running the finance function and providing key information to help inform decision making. This dynamic role presents flexible hybrid working arrangements, coupled with a monthly commitment to travel to four of the organisation's locations situated across the South-West. The responsibilities: - Compile comprehensive monthly management accounts for each business site, encompassing detailed profit and loss and balance sheet analysis, and disclosing reports to both financial institutions and Directors.
- Ensure timely disbursement to suppliers.
- Conduct meticulous bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Verify fee income integrity and adequacy, and engage with team managers and local authority for accurate fee alignment.
- Review payroll hours against budgetary constraints, and seamlessly transmit payroll data to the designated bureau.
- Proactively pursue outstanding fees while keeping managers informed of any impending challenges.
- Develop precise profit and loss projections coupled with continuous actual-to-budget comparisons, alongside meticulous cash flow forecasts.
- Manage the process of receipt collection and cost allocation.
- Conduct thorough assessments of client finances where entrusted with fund management.
- Oversee the efficient management of petty cash resources.
The candidate: - Previous experience of working in a Finance Manager or Management Accountant position.
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA/AAT or qualified by experience.
- Ability to meticulously review financial data for accuracy and compliance, while also interpreting information, identifying trends, and making informed recommendations.
- Efficiently manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with accounting software (Xero).
