| KS1 Graduate Teaching Assistant  Are you a dedicated and compassionate graduate with a keen interest in working with young children?  We are seeking a passionate KS1 Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a warm and nurturing primary school in the heart of Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the early education of children and gain valuable experience, prior to starting a teacher training opportunity in the future.  Job Title:                         KS1 Graduate Teaching Assistant School Type:          ‘Good’ 3 form-entry primary school Pay:                                £80 - £90 per day Contract:             September 2024 – July 2025 Location:                        Wolverhampton Brief:                              1:1 and small group support to KS1 children  The Role As a KS1 Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the teaching staff and pupils within the Key Stage 1 phase. Working closely with our experienced teachers, you will assist in creating engaging and stimulating lessons that cater to the needs of their young learners. Your key responsibilities will include:  - Providing one-on-one and small group support to children who may require additional assistance with their learning. - Assisting in the preparation of age-appropriate teaching materials and resources. - Supporting classroom management and promoting a positive and safe learning environment. - Encouraging the social and emotional development of our students through caring interactions and role modelling. - Assisting with the assessment of pupils' progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents.  The Candidate - A minimum of a Bachelor's degree - Genuine enthusiasm for working with young children and a commitment to their well-being and development. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with children, colleagues, and parents. - Adaptability and a patient demeanor to meet the individual needs of each child. - Previous experience working with children in any capacity is advantageous, but not mandatory.  The School The school is an established and highly regarded institution dedicated to providing an enriching and supportive learning environment for children in their early years of education.
