JustPhysio are looking for a P/T Physiotherapist for their client in Cheshire Band 5/6 Physiotherapist P/T 22.5 hours per week Learning Disabilities Salary £20,400-£23,793 Start ASAP Our client in Cheshire are looking for a Physiotherapist to join their team on a P/T tem You will be required - To provide a specialist Physiotherapy service including assessment, planning and implementing physiotherapy programmes and interventions to meet the needs of the people we support across all services To carry out assessment and treatment of the specialist case load ranging from paediatric to adults with complex learning disabilities (including neurological impairments, severe learning difficulties and autism). To advise on the development of the services and on future Physiotherapy needs. Contribute to Multidisciplinary Team meetings. To effectively deliver Physiotherapy provisions to meet the needs of the charity and annually oversee the review of resource requirements and present findings to the Head of Clinical Services & Quality and ensure correct resource is in place to meet needs. To ensure that the care delivered and service provided is: * Safe * Effective * Caring * Responsive * Well-led And fully compliant with all: * Legislative, statutory and regulatory requirements * Internal policies, procedures, and guidelines * The highest standards of service delivery, corporate culture and personal values Use evidence-based practice to inform clinical assessment, decision making and intervention To assist with hydrotherapy treatments on a daily basis including working in the hydrotherapy pool. Perform risk assessments as required. Provide and maintain mobility aids and aids for daily living. To assist with the development of objectives or projects relating to physiotherapy and to support peers in its implementation To participate in the development and delivery of training to others To attend annual reviews, MDT meetings, strategy meetings, transition meetings when clinically indicated Plan and implement physiotherapy interventions, monitoring and evaluating outcomes for each individual to ensure clinical effectiveness. Adhere to the Chartered Society of Physiotherapist (CSP) Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. To assess the need for specialist equipment in school, college residential or work settings. Provide input where required, on admission panels, assessing potential pupils and residents, advising on physiotherapy requirements and clinical opinions of suitability for placement.
