Temporary HR Administrator | £17 per hour

Hybrid working | Full time

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and capable HR adminstrator to support on the administrative aspects of HR and Learning and Development. This role is for 6 months.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Being the first point of contact for all HR queries and escalating issues when required
  • Maintain the HR inbox and respond to emails in a timely matter
  • Providing support in HR meetings when requested
  • Initiate and manage the administrative set-up for new employees, in terms of contract, induction process, ensuring they have the correct right to work documents.
  • Processing of starter and leaver forms, supporting the HR Officers.
  • Managing staff records in terms of sick pay entitlements, absence records i.e. Holidays and sicknesses for all employees
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of HR and HR Officers in all HR activities as required
  • Provide basic advice and resolution against HR policy and procedure; escalating to the HR Officer/Head of HR where
  • Undertake filing, scanning, printing and photocopying as
  • To develop and maintain all HR information systems
  • Manage employee attendance records, including sickness absence.
  • To be responsible for ensuring that all HR files and databases are efficiently set-up and maintained, observing confidentiality at all times.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Have previous experience in HR/and or recruitment role
  • Be numerate, accurate and have good attention to detail
  • Ability to be discrete and confidential
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to reach decisions and judgments based upon a sound evidence base
  • Practical and logical; able to solve problems quickly
  • Experience of maintaining and working with HR systems
  • Excellent administrative skills and good IT skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to work independently
  • Ability to show initiative, multitask, problem solve and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work effectively and confidentially across teams and with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • A flexible, hands-on approach to work and a strong team player.
