Job Overview We are currently recruiting for a Train Presentation Operative to join our passionate and driven team based at our client`s site in Oxford Station, Park End St As Train Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards of trains, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for passengers and staff. This role plays a crucial part in the overall maintenance and appearance of trains, contributing to a positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities: * Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain a tidy environment inside the train * Clean and sanitize restrooms, seating areas, and other high-touch surfaces to meet health and safety standards. * Inspect and report any damages, graffiti, or vandalism to the appropriate authorities for prompt resolution. * Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed, ensuring that all necessary materials are on hand to perform daily tasks. * Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment. * Follow procedures for handling and disposing of cleaning chemicals and materials. About You: * Applicants must have the right to work in the UK * Previous experience in cleaning would be advantageous. * You will have strong communication skills. * Willingness to work night and weekend shifts. * You will need to pass a medical and drug and alcohol test prior to starting in this role. * You will also be required to complete a Depot Track Safety (DTS) training course. * Free travel to and from work will be provided on SWR trains.
