Experienced Solderer's & Mechanical Assembler's - 20 Week Project
£18 per hour, rising to £19 per hour upon completion of performance targets
Shifts: Monday-Thursday
Hours: 36 hours per week (9 hours per day, including 30 minutes unpaid break)
Working hours: 07:00-16:30
Manpower are currently recruiting for an experienced Solderer's and Mechanical Assembler's to join a well-established manufacturing business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and experience working within electronics or precision assembly environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out through-hole and surface mount soldering to a high standard
- Mechanical assembly of electronic components and sub-assemblies
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and assembly instructions
- Using hand tools and small assembly equipment
- Inspecting work to ensure quality standards are met
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets
Requirements:
- Previous experience in electronic soldering and mechanical assembly
- Experience with through-hole and surface mount soldering
- Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to follow technical drawings and work instructions
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
