We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join a Complex Needs Service supporting Adults and Families in Plymouth. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about helping vulnerable individuals promote independence, wellbeing, and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting individuals with tenancy management and daily living skills - Encouraging budgeting, wellbeing, and social inclusion - Delivering person-centred support plans - Promoting independence and positive outcomes - Maintaining accurate records and risk assessments - Working alongside partner agencies and support services
Essential Requirements:
? Experience supporting vulnerable people or individuals with complex needs ? Ability to build professional relationships and maintain boundaries ? Confident lone worker and team player ? Good literacy and numeracy skills ? Understanding of safeguarding, equality, and diversity ? Flexible approach to working hours
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care or related field - Previous housing support experience - Knowledge of benefits, employment, or support pathways
