The Role Following a successful driving assessment, you will be responsible for transporting parcels and mail between Royal Mail depots within their nationwide network. This is primarily trunking work with minimal manual handling, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy straightforward, organised routes and consistent work. What We Offer - Immediate starts available - Ongoing assignments with regular work - Shifts planned and communicated one week in advance - A wide range of start times and shift patterns to suit your availability - Minimal manual handling involved - Weekly pay - Accrued holiday pay - Pension scheme access (PAYE) - Onsite parking available Pay Rates Excellent pay rates available depending on shift pattern and start/finish times: - From £20.12 per hour - Up to £29.81 per hour Requirements To be considered for this role, you must: - Hold a valid UK 7.5T licence for a minimum of 2 years - Have at least 2 years’ commercial driving experience - Have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence Unfortunately, we cannot accept drivers with DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements. Due to the nature of Royal Mail’s operation, all successful applicants will be required to complete and pass a DBS security check following registration.
