Administrator - Cardiff City Centre Salary: £26,000 Hours: Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 5:30pm, Friday Hybrid 9:00am - 4:30pm Are you passionate about the environment and want to work for a company that genuinely cares? We are currently recruiting an Administrator for a well-established, environmentally-conscious company. Role Overview This role involves a variety of administrative tasks to support the office and project teams. Regular site visits and audits are an important part of the role, mainly within Wales and England. Occasional overnight stays may be required, with hotel accommodation provided as needed. Main Duties Maintain the subconsultant database Prepare fee applications Support the finance officer by scanning, saving, and sending invoices Manage office petty cash and incoming post Assist with the tendering process by completing standard financial answers Maintain the project register Support onboarding of new staff, including: Ordering Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Setting up staff and HR folders Support the company's environmental objectives by monitoring the carbon footprint Skills Required We are looking for a confident individual starting their career in office administration: Self-motivated and able to manage workload independently Pleasant and welcoming to guests and colleagues Willing to provide administrative support across the wider team Conscientious and detail-oriented Proactive in finding better ways of doing things Benefits 20 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays), with the option to purchase up to 5 additional days per year after probation 2 paid volunteering days per year for a chosen charity Generous insurance contributions Payment of professional fees after successful probation Opportunity to join private healthcare after probation Company pension at standard government rates (reviewable) Bespoke training package to develop skills and interests Mentoring scheme to support professional development Modern office space with quality IT equipment Regular in-house and external CPD events Variety of company-funded social events throughout the year If you are interested, please click Apply. |
