Job Description

Is this you?
If you’re the sort of person who enjoys a fast pace, gets a buzz from bringing order to a busy inbox and a packed diary, and still has the energy to write a great LinkedIn post before lunch, then this is the Administrator & Executive Support role for you.

You’ll be at your best working for someone who thinks at speed, has ten ideas before breakfast and wants things done yesterday. Priorities can change by the hour. That doesn’t rattle you. You like it, because you’re the one who calmly turns “I need this now” into “It’s already done.”

You don’t take a bit of urgency personally, you’re not afraid to say “that can wait until Thursday”, and you get real satisfaction from staying one step ahead of a high-energy leader.

The opportunity:
An award-winning, values-led specialist rehabilitation provider in the personal injury sector, delivering psychological support and case management to people and families whose lives have been turned upside down. Their founder and Managing Director is a respected, outspoken and highly driven leader, and the business is growing.

She needs a right hand: someone to keep her working day running smoothly and to make sure the business’s expertise is seen and heard by the solicitors, case managers and referrers it serves. This is a newly shaped role that sits closer to the MD than anyone else in the business.

What you’ll be doing as Administrator & Executive Support:
A quick word on the balance. Right now, this role leans firmly towards the executive support side. The marketing and social media work is mainly about scheduling and posting content and repurposing what already exists, rather than creating everything from scratch. If you’re genuinely creative and love making content, there’s room for that side to grow as you get to know the business and the sector. But first and foremost, she needs someone who is driven by the EA work and gets real satisfaction from keeping a busy MD organised.

- Taking charge of the MD’s inbox and diary, so nothing slips and her time goes on what matters most
- Chasing outstanding actions and drafting internal communications on the MD’s behalf
- Preparing the MD for event attendance to support business development
- Supporting with any clinical administration such as filing documents and emails
- Supporting with any marketing administration needed
- Gathering data from different parts of the business as required and reporting back

What you’ll bring as Administrator & Executive Support:

- Experience as an EA or PA supporting a senior leader, director or business owner
- Excellent written English and a natural feel for engaging, professional copy
- Strong organisation skills and the confidence to manage a demanding leader’s time and push back when needed
- Resilience, a sense of humour and a cool head under pressure
- Discretion with confidential information
- Experience in clinical, legal or professional services, or with HubSpot, is a bonus

What’s in it for the Administrator & Executive Support:

- A permanent role with full-time or part-time (25–30 hours) options
- £30-£35,000 per annum full time, pro-rata for part-time hours
- 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, a birthday day off and a “duvet day” (all pro-rata)
- Training opportunities and a workplace pension
- A kind, loyal and good-humoured team that genuinely values work-life balance and positive mental health
- Work that really matters: everything this business does is about helping people rebuild their lives
