| Air Conditioning Engineer (Installation Bias) Location Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas including Berkshire & Oxfordshire The Company Established for over 40 years, our client is a well-respected and long-standing M&E specialist contractor. With a workforce of over 50 employees, they provide a full range of Mechanical & Electrical services. The business operates exclusively within the local region, covering Buckinghamshire, Berkshire & Oxfordshire, allowing engineers to maintain an excellent work-life balance without extensive travel into London. Their client portfolio consists entirely of commercial properties across local authorities, office buildings, telecoms and NHS sites. The company has an excellent reputation for staff retention and offers stable long-term employment with a supportive management team. The Role Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Air Conditioning Engineer with a strong installation background who is also comfortable carrying out service, maintenance and fault-finding duties when required. This is a varied role offering a healthy split of installation and maintenance work across commercial environments. Equipment Worked On: - VRV Systems - VRF Systems - Split Systems - Multi-Split Systems - Air Handling Units (AHUs) Key Responsibilities: - Installation of commercial air conditioning systems - Service and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) - Reactive fault finding and diagnosis - Compressor replacements - System repairs and breakdown attendance - Working across a variety of commercial client sites - Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety requirements Candidate Requirements - Proven experience within commercial air conditioning - Strong installation background with the ability to support service and maintenance works - Experience working on VRV, VRF, Split, Multi-Split and AHU systems - Competent fault-finding skills - Experience carrying out compressor changes and major repairs - Full UK Driving Licence - Strong customer-facing communication skills Salary & Benefits - Competitive salary dependent on experience (up to the mid £40,000s for strong engineers) - Annual salary reviews - Company van and fuel card - Private use of van included - Call out - 1 in 13. - Mobile phone provided - Pension scheme - PPE and specialist tools supplied - Overtime opportunities available - Weekend work available on installation projects when required - Travel time paid after 30 minutes each way - Overtime rates apply to travel time beyond the first 30 minutes each way - Bonus schemes throughout the year Working Hours - Monday to Friday - 8:00am - 4:30pm - 30-minute lunch break If you feel you would be well suited for the role or would like to find out more, please send your up to date CV. |
