Air Conditioning Engineer – Heathrow Airport – £22.50 to £26.00 per hour (PAYE) Location: Heathrow Airport Rate: £22.50 – £26.00 per hour (PAYE, based on experience) Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week We are currently working with a leading facilities and construction specialist, operating successfully for over 10 years across high-end commercial sectors including airports, luxury retail, and showrooms. Due to ongoing growth, they are now seeking an experienced Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Engineer to join their dedicated team based at Heathrow Airport. This is a long-term opportunity for a qualified engineer looking to work in a secure, prestigious environment with excellent training and career development. Key Responsibilities: You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across airport lounges, restaurants, and retail areas, including: - VRV/VRF systems - Split and multi-split units - Cold rooms and fridges - Air Handling Units (AHUs) - General mechanical and building services maintenance - PPM, diagnostics, and repair work across systems Candidate Requirements: - NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration - FGAS Category 1 certification - Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance - Comfortable working independently in a live commercial environment - Must live within a commutable distance to Heathrow Airport Note: All required airside training and competency certifications will be provided by the employer.
