About the company Great opportunity for an Architect with experience of designing and building Data Platforms to join a leading FinTech business in Manchester at the beginning of a major modernisation of its data landscape. The business is investing heavily in next-generation cloud and data capabilities, with a strong commitment to best-in-class governance, innovation, and secure data access across the organisation. About the team You’ll join an established Data Platform team delivering strategic solutions using an agile approach. Built on a modern cloud estate with Snowflake and Azure at its core, the team is expanding its capabilities to meet wide-ranging business needs. You’ll collaborate across architecture, engineering, and business domains, contributing to the organisation’s enterprise-wide architecture vision. About the role As Data Platform Architect, you’ll have real autonomy and will work across 5 squads of 40 people in total to help shape and evolve the architectural roadmap for a rapidly scaling data platform. This is a player coach role, so although it has a strategic focus, you should also be comfortable collaborating with engineering teams and being hands-on to help build out POCs. Required skills
