Manpower are currently seeking an interim Assistant Brand Manager (Domestos), to work with our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, to become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment. The position is based at Blackfriars on London's Victoria Embankment, just a short walk from Blackfriars tube. This is a full-time temporary role for 6 months, requiring 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £48,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.
The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.

Today, Domestos is sold in +65 countries across the world and has products that deliver amazing performance on germ kill and cleaning inside the toilet and on surfaces around the bathroom.

The role is about leading development and execution of brand and innovation development on core and future toilet maintenance platform while elevating brand by designing and implementing marketing strategies and communication for the respective projects.

Key Accountabilities
- Lead the development of insight-driven innovations and renovation to drive long term brand and business growth
- Support the development of new formats innovation to bring disruption and capture future trend
- Build robust business case and manage innovation through Innoflex; translate innovation opportunity in trade story and brand plans; develop clear briefs on packaging and communication to create engaging campaigns to land the innovation with execution excellence
- Collaborate effectively with cross functional teams to deliver project objectives within deadlines
- Support Line Manager in driving market development and implementing global brand strategy
- Manage key operational activities
- Close collaborations with clusters and local teams for the key lead markets
Key Responsibilities - Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within FMCG
- Experience on developing brand plans and creating communication and campaigns
- Innovation experience and portfolio management at a global level is preferred
- Passion for understanding consumers, finding insight and turning it into disruptive solutions
- Strong analytical skill and project management skill
- Digital savvy
- Ability to collaborate and influence teams across functions and geographies with different priorities and agendas
- Ability to stay agile, positive and work effectively with change and complexity
- Own entrepreneurial mindset, business acumen, can-do spirit and ability to hold accountability
