| Audit Senior - Plymouth Location: Plymouth (Hybrid working options available) Hours: Ideally 36.25 hours / 5 days per week (flexible options available) Level: Part-qualified or recently qualified (ACA/ACCA) Are you an ambitious audit professional looking for your next move? What You'll Be Doing - Leading audit fieldwork across a diverse portfolio of clients - Preparing financial statements for both audit and non-audit clients - Building trusted relationships with clients and becoming their go-to adviser - Supporting and coaching junior colleagues on audit assignments - Presenting technical matters clearly and practically - Conducting technical research to support clients and colleagues - Identifying opportunities for additional services and departmental development - Representing the firm at local networking and business events - Travelling to clients across the region as needed (mileage supported; hybrid working encouraged) What We're Looking For - ACA or ACCA part-qualified or fully qualified - Solid audit experience within an accountancy practice - Experience preparing financial statements and leading audit assignments - Clear communicator who can simplify the complex for clients - Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities - A positive, professional attitude and a willingness to grow - Good knowledge of UK FRS and International Auditing Standards - Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook - Experience with Caseware is a bonus, but not essential Why Join? - Competitive salary (up to £40,000 per annum depeneding on experience) with annual salary reviews - 20 days' holiday + bank holidays (rising to 25 days with service) - Option to carry over or buy/sell up to one week's holiday - Hybrid and flexible working options - Pension scheme (up to 6% matched contributions) - Death in service (3x salary) - Enhanced maternity/paternity pay (after 1 year) - Access to health and wellbeing schemes - Rewards programme - Cycle to Work, Payroll Giving, and Private Medical Insurance options - Staff and client referral commission schemes - Real opportunities for progression within a growing firm |
