Manpower are currently recruiting for an experienced Fish Bandsaw Operator to join a busy seafood processing facility. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced production environment, with the potential for an immediate start for the right candidate.
Location - Site location requires own or reliable transport
- No public transport links are available to the site
Shift Pattern - Monday - Friday
- 6:00am - 2:30pm
Pay Rate Key Responsibilities - Operating bandsaw machinery to cut and portion fish safely and accurately
- Preparing fish products to customer specifications
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and health & safety
- Carrying out quality checks on products throughout the production process
- Cleaning and maintaining workstations and equipment
- Supporting the wider production team as required
What We're Looking For
Experience - Previous experience operating a bandsaw within a fish or food production environment is highly desirable
- Experience working in a food manufacturing or seafood processing environment is advantageous
Skills & Attributes - Ability to operate bandsaw machinery safely and efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when portioning products
- Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a chilled, fast-paced production environment
