Barista
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide consistently high-quality service in a busy environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based coffees, teas, and speciality drinks.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, tills, and other café equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety throughout the café.
- Handle cash and card payments accurately.
- Restock ingredients, supplies, and display items as required.
- Prepare and serve food items while following company standards and food safety procedures.
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining the quality of drinks and customer service.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and preparation of the café.
- Work positively as part of a team and support colleagues when needed.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous barista or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and reliable attitude.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and early mornings where required.
