Bookkeeper/ Payroll Executive Redditch- office based £26,000- £29,000per annum depending on your previous skills and experience. Part time hours may be considered.
Are you an experienced Bookkeeper or Payroll professional looking to join a friendly and growing accountancy practice in Redditch? We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented team member to support our clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and general accounting duties.  You’ll be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio, providing accurate bookkeeping and payroll services, and ensuring all deadlines are met efficiently. Typical tasks include:
- Processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls - Managing client bookkeeping using cloud software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) - VAT return preparation and submissions - Reconciling bank accounts and maintaining ledgers - Liaising with clients and HMRC on payroll and bookkeeping matters
The successful Bookkeeper and Payroller will have the following skills and experience:
- Experienced in bookkeeping and payroll within an accountancy practice would be a distinct advantage. - Confident using cloud accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks - Organised with great attention to detail - A good communicator who enjoys client interaction - AAT qualified or equivalent (qualified by experience will be considered)
