Manpower is currently recruiting a Bus Driver on behalf of our client based in Saffron Walden. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver seeking a stable, full-time position with a well-established transport provider. You'll primarily be responsible for school runs and private hire services, with occasional weekend work required. During the summer season, the role may also include tour work, ranging from 5 to 10 days away from home. Key Responsibilities: Drive safely and responsibly on scheduled routes, school runs, and private hires. Deliver excellent customer service to passengers at all times. Carry out basic vehicle checks before and after each shift. Ensure adherence to all traffic laws and company policies. Maintain accurate records such as journey logs and mileage reports. Represent the company professionally while on the road and with clients.
Requirements: A valid PCV (Category D) licence and Driver CPC qualification. Good knowledge of road safety and driving regulations. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Flexibility to work weekends and extended tours when required. Previous experience in school runs, private hires, or tour driving is advantageous.
