Job Description:

We have a fantastic new opportunity available for a Business Development Manager to join a well-established, independent dealership of Construction Machinery. This is an organisation who have built up a strong reputation over the last 20 years. They have a strong product portfolio on offer and have built the business successfully by delivering an excellent customer experience.

Within the role of Business Development Manager, you will promote both new & used machinery sales across Northern parts of England. You’ll become an integral part of a close nit team, be provided with plenty of product training, and have scope to earn well based on performance.

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Manage, retain, and develop relationships with a new and existing customer base
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients through networking, cold calling, site visits, and strategic outreach.
• Deliver high levels of customer service on behalf of the company, ensuring customer satisfaction is always achieved
• Present and promote the full range of products and services on offer tailored to the clients needs
• Attend trade shows, industry events, monitoring market trends and competitor activity.

Requirements of Role:

• Previous experience in a Capital Equipment Sales role across the Construction Equipment Markets (Willing to consider anyone from a Construction Plant, Powered Access, Crane, Material Handling, or Agricultural background).
• Strong knowledge of the North of England’s industrial and construction landscape
• Must be a team player
• Hold a UK driving licence
