Care Home Chef/Cook - Temp - Southampton

We are seeking experienced Care Home Chefs to provide temporary cover at Care Homes in the Southampton area. If you hold an Enhanced DBS check and have experience of care home kitchens, we’d love to hear from you!

Various rates of pay depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of healthy meals for residents and staff, in line with dietary requirements and policies.
• Ensure all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
• Work closely with staff to address any special dietary needs or preferences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a chef, within a care home or similar setting.
• Enhanced DBS check required
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for preparing wholesome meals for residents.
