As a Catering Assistant, Your Duties May Include

• Supporting Chefs, Catering Managers and kitchen teams
• Preparing and serving hot and cold food
• Serving pupils, residents, customers and guests
• Assisting with events, functions and hospitality services
• Setting up and clearing down catering areas
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience as a Catering Assistant, Kitchen Assistant or Food Service Assistant
• Experience within schools, care homes, events or contract catering is advantageous
• Food Safety and Allergen qualifications, or willingness to complete
• Enhanced DBS with child barring, or willingness to obtain, for school-based roles
• Strong communication, customer service and organisational skills
• A reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
