Catering Assistant for Schools-Temp-Taunton

We are currently recruiting Catering Assistants for ongoing temporary work in schools across the Taunton area.

You will be paid weekly and accrue holiday pay with every shift!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the safe preparation and service of meals to residents in line with dietary requirements

• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas

• Follow food safety, allergy, and health & safety guidelines at all times

• Support kitchen staff with washing up and general kitchen duties

• Communicate clearly and respectfully with staff to ensure smooth mealtime service

Requirements:

• An Enhanced DBS certificate is preferred; if you don’t have one, we can support you in applying

• Previous experience in a school or catering environment is advantageous but not essential

• Good attention to detail, reliability, and a positive, can-do attitude

• A genuine commitment to maintaining high standards and supporting the wellbeing of residents
