Chef Manager 

Start Date: September
Salary: £15.27 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 32.5 hours per week
Working Weeks: 39 weeks + 5.6 weeks holiday pay
Contract: Temp to Perm considered

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Chef Manager to oversee catering operations across two primary schools, serving approximately 300 meals each day.

You will lead a team of four catering staff, ensuring the smooth day to day running of the kitchen and the delivery of high quality, nutritious meals across both sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of four catering staff.

• Oversee the preparation and service of approximately 300 meals daily.

• Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation.

• Manage stock, ordering and food costs.

• Ensure compliance with food safety and allergen regulations.

• Coordinate the safe delivery of meals to the second school.

About You

• Previous experience as a Chef Manager, Head Chef or Senior Chef.

• Strong leadership and organisational skills.

• Passionate about delivering high quality food and service.

• Good knowledge of food hygiene and allergen requirements.

• Reliable, professional and able to work independently.

• Full driving licence and ability to drive a van is essential.
