| Civil Engineer £35,000 - £45,000 Cardiff  We’re working with a top-tier consultancy who are growing their Cardiff team with the addition of a Civil Engineer.  This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong foundation in drainage and highways, with the ambition to grow in a highly supportive, design-led environment.  What You’ll Be Doing:  - Designing levels, drainage, SuDS, highways, and external works for a wide range of building-led developments - Working on residential, commercial, regeneration, and public sector schemes - Producing detailed designs and submission packages for S278, S38, S104, S185, SAB approvals, and more - Creating earthworks models, technical reports, condition surveys, and drainage strategies - Coordinating with architects, design teams, contractors, and approving authorities - Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to project reviews and delivery - Taking part in client meetings, site visits, and team collaboration sessions  What We’re Looking For:            - Degree-qualified with consultancy experience in infrastructure or civil design - Comfortable working across drainage, highways, and 3D modelling - Proficient with AutoCAD and InfoDrainage – experience with Civil 3D a bonus - Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset and attention to detail - Good understanding of industry guidance and approvals (SAB, S278, S104 etc.) - Someone who thrives in a design-led, multi-disciplinary environment  What’s on offer: Salary £35,000 - £45,000 Generous holiday allowance Free private medical insurance Industry-leading training and CPD + paid-for subscriptions Discounted gym membership Strong sustainability ethos and people-first culture Flexible working and hybrid options  If you're looking for a team where you can grow technically, contribute to meaningful projects, and enjoy a culture that values your development, this is the one.  ldodd@rgbrec.co.uk [1]  | jjohns@rgbrec.co.uk [2] Links: ------ [1] mailto:ldodd@rgbrec.co.uk [2] mailto:jjohns@rgbrec.co.uk |
