Due to sustained growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in drainage design to play a key role in delivering interesting projects that contribute positively to communities and the environment The Role: - Lead the design and delivery of surface water and foul drainage schemes - Prepare Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and SAB applications - Undertake drainage strategies in line with current regulations and best practice (SuDS focus) - Support highway design where required, including S278, S38, and S104 agreements - Manage project workflows, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers - Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders including local authorities and statutory bodies Projects span a wide range of sectors, including residential developments, education, conservation, industrial schemes, commercial projects and more. Ideal Skills & Experience: - 3+ years’ experience in civil engineering, with a strong emphasis on drainage design - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage/Flow (or similar software) - Good understanding of SuDS principles and UK drainage standards - Strong communication and organisational skills - Ambition to progress professionally within a growing consultancy What’s on Offer: - Salary £30,000 - £55,000 - 35 hour working week - 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays - Bi-annual profit share scheme - Private healthcare and health insurance cover - Company pension |
