We are now seeking a dedicated and experienced Class 2 Cylinder Driver to join our team in Exeter, contributing to our continued growth and success. - Monday - Friday Days
- £16.63 per hour - £24.95 overtime after 42.5
Job Responsibilities- Safely operate Class 2 vehicles to transport gas cylinders to various locations across the region.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of cylinders, maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and securing of gas cylinders.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading cylinders, ensuring safe handling at all times.
- Communicate effectively with the logistics team and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Current CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- ADR Tanks & Packages
- Knowledge of UK road regulations and safety standards related to the transportation of hazardous materials.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage delivery schedules efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Physical fitness and manual handling skills suitable for loading and unloading cylinders.
