Looking for a driving role that's more than just deliveries?
Manpower is recruiting Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to join our prestigious client in Normanton. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a global logistics leader on a specialist contract, with full training provided and the potential for a permanent position.
What You'll Be Doing
As part of a two-person delivery crew, you'll be responsible for:
- Multi-drop deliveries and collections between customer locations
- Delivering, installing and collecting specialist equipment, including Peloton bikes and Coca-Cola vending machines
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery
- Completing vehicle safety checks before each shift
- Using handheld scanners and completing delivery documentation accurately
- Driving safely and in line with all legal and company requirements
No previous specialist delivery experience is required - full training will be provided.
What We're Looking For
To be successful, you'll need:
- A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- A valid Driver CPC
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 penalty points
- No DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements
- Good knowledge of the UK road network
- A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
- A good level of physical fitness, as heavy lifting is involved
